THE GOAL: Despite being a household name in the local community, Wah Pek had no online presence and lacked branding. The company had previously relied on radio and print advertising, but was finding that these outlets no longer produced the results they used to. In order to adapt to the changing times, Wah Pek Chinese Herbs tasked us with the job of unifying its multiple branches in to one consolidated brand with a centralized website.
HOW DID WE HELP WAH PEK?
Having been in business for over 30 years, Wah Pek had never felt the need to establish an online presence for itself. Recently however, the company had seen consistent decreases in market share due to competition from health foods stores leveraging current technologies to attract more tech savvy clients. Management realized that it needed to respond with a marketing campaign of its own, starting with the creation of the firm’s first website.
With tens of thousands of unique products being sold at each location, Wah Pek needed an efficient system of advertising and cataloguing its vast inventories. BausMedia was able to achieve outstanding results by conducting an analysis to narrow down and list products responsible for the majority of revenue generation. Through use of industry best practices, we were able to curate content matching the atmospheric specifications of retail locations and further increase market receptivity to online advertisements.
